"Thai NGO, The Center for the Protection of Children's Rights, protects abused, sexually exploited, or trafficked children in collaboration with the Thai government, other civil organizations, Thai police, and international organizations. The action of the Center consists of information gathering on abused children, protection, rehabilitation, and reintegration into society. A Bangladeshi NGO, Aparajeyo, manages a street school with the help of ex-street children called child motivators where street children in downtown Dhaka can learn Bengali, basic calculation, and basic knowledge on such infectious diseases as AIDS. This NGO also runs a drop-in center which provides street children with not only basic education, but also a kitchen, showers, and beds for day- or short term care. Caring for the Future Foundation Japan established and manages Children's House for educating and nursing street children in Pangasinan in the Philippines. The Japanese Association of supporting Streetchildren's Home in Vietnam implements comprehensive support for street children in Hue. The Association provides street children, who are psychologically damaged in their life on a street, with cultural education such as reading, painting, and music; mental care; vocational training of motorcycle repair and needlework; and an opportunity of employment to a plant of Japanese motorcycle manufacturing company and the Association's souvenir store.
